No idea why the reviews are so bad! This place is fantastic, and it hits all the nostalgia points too if you're an old school tea/boba enjoyer. They've got huge sizes and the staff members are all really kind. They've been having a few promos lately and those have gotten me in the door after visiting less in the last few years, but so happy to rediscover how good Tea Station is! A must-visit classic!
Tea station is usually very pricey, this place is in the plaza of the Dive restaurant and Baekjong. So after your meal might as well fill up on a sweet drink! Ordering can be done with a person or on a tablet! I got a half sweet no ice brown sugar milk tea with boba, regular size. My cousin ordered a large and my goodness it was pretty big! I usually order a regular milk tea, but I wanted to try their boba and brown sugar type. Their boba that day was soft, chewy, and sweet! It was definitely great compared to other places I've been. There is very little seating options (a few tables and seats), but as an express option it does a quick service and convenience. It wasn't busy, so can't really say it's quick if it does get as busy as a line out the door (which is what I usually see). Parking is not as great, best to find a spot underground than to compete for a parking near the stores. Stairways are tight out of tea station, so very convenient for going downstairs to the parking garage.
While waiting for Mikiya, we stopped by to get a drink. Quick and simple order of Oolong Tea with no sugar. Workers were really helpful. Place was clean. I think the staffs were newly training because my friends orders tasted funny, but they were quick to fix it.
Get ready for a steeped-in-convenience experience at Tea Station Express, the speedy spin-off of the beloved Tea Station Restaurants! Temple City CA gem has traded in its sit-down roots for a grab-and-go vibe, perfect for those on-the-move moments. Fear not, tech-phobes - while digital menus and self-pay options abound, you can still get your human fix at the cashier station. Snack-wise, the popcorn chicken is a must-try (no disappointments here!), and the squid balls will leave you squirming for more (in the best way possible, of course!). Our drink du jour? Milk tea and green tea, both of which hit the spot. Family-friendly? Absolutely - we brought our crew and everyone left happy. Indoor and outdoor seating options abound, plus a convenient restroom for when nature calls. Just be aware that parking can get tight depending on the time of day (it's nestled in a mini shopping center). All in all, Tea Station Express is the perfect pit stop for a quick, delicious fix. So what are you waiting for? Pull over, grab a cup (or snack), and get back on the go!
Not sure why the reviews are so low for here. Place is clean and has a great selection of milk teas and coffees. I got the Thai Tea Coffee and it was refreshing and tasty. Service was good as we just ordered on the touch screen right at the front. The drinks were made promptly and the server was very sweet. Would come back here!
Tea Station has always been a consistent staple in this plaza! Although I haven't been to TStation for awhile, this experience was so positive and reminded me of why it is definitely a good option for drinks! I got a simple large honey green milk tea and although it was on the pricier side ($8), I did overall enjoy its flavor. The menu is extensive, giving a variety of options to its guest. Service was efficient, but not much engagement as you order through the kiosks. However, it seemed like the workers would be willing to adjust the drinks as needed (saw them do so for another guest), so that's awesome! TStation is located in a pretty busy plaza, but there were a few tables and chairs indoors and outdoors, allowing for guests to sit and rest as they please.
My boyfriend and I stopped in after getting some KBBQ next door and this was the perfect sweet treat after a savory meal! I personally always get 50% sugar and some type of jelly. I went with the mocha jelly and y'alllllll, this combo was *chef's kiss*. I would definitely stop in again if I'm in the area!
I was craving a tea, something more on the milky side of things so I came in very quickly to get a winter melon milk tea and it was delicious. I did say 25% sweet but it felt like 75% sweet. Only $7 for this huge cup, I couldn't even finish the entire drink. I was in and out in less than 4 minutes. I love how solid Tea Station is!
Writing this follow up review to recommend their Taiwanese braised pork rice (魯肉飯 or 滷肉飯)!! Having researched and visited over a dozen braised pork rice specialty restaurants in Taiwan, I consider myself somewhat educated on this dish. Their braised pork is cooked just right with pork belly and spices -- definitely the BEST I've had in Los Angeles! Try their combo, which is around $18 but that includes a green tea (great tasting, another one of the best) and taxes!
